The SENKEN Tsunami™ 7-inch XL Cleaver Knife pairs Japanese VG10 Damascus steel with a blue resin burl wood handle, bringing powerful cutting performance and a wave of deep-blue color to your kitchen.
Built for more than chopping, its extra-wide 7-inch blade slices boneless meats, cuts through large vegetables, and finely minces herbs. The broad surface also lets you gather prepared ingredients and transfer them from board to pan.
The blade features a Japanese VG10 steel core surrounded by 33 layers of Damascus steel on each side, forming a 67-layer blade rated at 62 HRC for exceptional hardness and edge retention. A 15° double-bevel edge delivers clean cuts with less effort, whether you’re portioning meat or slicing through a head of cabbage.
Genuine burl wood is stabilized with blue resin, then shaped and polished into a handle that resists moisture and wear. Its smooth, rounded shape provides a firm, comfortable grip, while variations in the wood grain and resin give the handle its own unique beauty.
Includes a custom-fit knife sheath for protected storage and a luxury gift box for presentation and gifting.
