6. Chargeback Policy and Dispute Fees

By completing a purchase through our store, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Chargeback Policy. We are committed to providing high-quality products/services and fair resolution of disputes. If you believe there is an issue with your order, you agree to contact us first to attempt to resolve the matter in good faith.

Unauthorized or unwarranted chargebacks - defined as disputes initiated through your bank, credit card provider, or payment platform provider (including but not limited to: PayPal, Affirm, Shop Pay) that are not based on legitimate billing errors - are a violation of this agreement. If a chargeback is filed without first attempting resolution with us, and the chargeback is later found to be unsubstantiated or fraudulent in nature, we reserve the right to pursue reimbursement for all costs incurred as a result, including:

Administrative processing time
Legal or professional fees
Chargeback penalties imposed by our payment processor
Collection agency fees, if applicable

In such cases, you agree to be liable for a Dispute Resolution Fee of up to $500.00 USD (or the equivalent in your local currency), representing a reasonable estimate of these costs. This fee may be invoiced directly to you and, if unpaid, may be referred to a third-party collections agency or pursued through legal channels.

By placing an order, you expressly consent to this policy and waive any right to file a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue in good faith with our support team. Fraudulent chargebacks (e.g., claiming non-receipt of a delivered product or falsely alleging unauthorized use) may also result in civil and/or criminal liability under applicable law. We work with authorities on both the local and federal level to prosecute theft and fraud to the fullest extent of the law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website—including text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions, and software—is the property of Senken Knives and protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute this content without express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Senken Knives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or products. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the products or services in question.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to this agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
